The Origin of LeaseHub: Built by Operators, for Operators

By Alex Burton

The idea for LeaseHub began to take shape in the summer of 2023. Founders Alex, Riddhi, and Stavya had previously collaborated across two ventures: Urban Crest LLC, a brokerage led by Alex, and Roombae, a lead generation platform founded by Riddhi and Stavya.

That summer, the team hit a critical juncture. Demand for their leasing services had surged—and traditional tools simply couldn’t keep up. Rather than compromise on growth or service quality, they began building internal systems tailored to their real-world needs.

These tools worked—enabling 30–50% year-over-year growth across their portfolio.

Soon after, City Realty Group approached the team with a new challenge:
“Can you build this for us?”

That conversation marked the beginning of LeaseHub.

Customer-Driven from Day One

The team embedded themselves at City Realty Group’s office, spending weeks mapping out workflows, identifying friction points, and designing automation-first solutions. The mission was clear: reduce human error and manual effort without compromising flexibility.

In May 2024, LeaseHub officially launched its first version with City Realty Group. The MVP focused on core property management  leasing functions:

  • Showing coordination
  • Application tracking
  • Deal management
  • Messaging
  • Property data centralization

Rapid Growth, Real Impact

Since launch, LeaseHub has grown fast—shaped directly by feedback from property managers in the field. New features have included:

  • Listing syndication
  • Customizable showing protocol rules
  • Flexible application forms
  • Integrated payment management
  • Renewals automation
  • Security deposit handling via Passive
  • Buildium and other 3rd-party integrations
  • Continuous client-driven updates

What’s Next

From day one, LeaseHub has been guided by a simple belief:
Property managers and landlords deserve better tools.

What started as a custom in-house solution is now a scalable platform built to empower leasing teams across the country.
